Teaching Philosophy
In my teaching I try and draw from players past experience with other sports or activities that incorporate similar movements to the golf swing. I am able to gain insight into the player’s history and they will be able to transfer already known skills to their golf game. My teaching strategy is “keep it simple” and “do what you know, not what you think you know”. The goal of my instruction is for the student to leave knowing the cause and effect of the changes being made and for them to be able to continue the progress/improvement in between lessons.
Favorite golfer: Tiger Woods
Favorite golf course played: Palouse Ridge Golf Club, Pullman, WA
Best golf tip: If you want to really improve your scores, spend more time on your short game and less time hitting full shots.
Favorite thing to do when not golfing: Spend time with family and friends and watching
sporting events.

Teaching Philosophy
My philosophy is to simplify a golfer’s approach to the golf swing by focusing on the four key fundamentals… Grip, Posture, Alignment, and Ball Position. When these fundamentals are in line, it allows a golfer the greatest chance for success. As far as my philosophy regarding the actual motion of the golf swing, I aim to create efficient motions by minimizing their moving parts. Less moving parts means that less can go wrong and consistency can be more easily obtained.
Favorite golfer: Tiger Woods
Favorite golf course played: Cypress Point GC – Pebble Beach, CA
Best golf tip: Finish your golf swing in good posture and balance.
